Technology Consultant / SAP ABAP Developer
Full-time • Home office up to 4 days a week
What will your job involve?
- User Requirements Analysis: You will work with end users to understand the requirements for the SAP system and specific programming tasks.
- ABAP Programming: You will write and modify ABAP code to implement business logic, create reports, develop interfaces, enhance existing functionality, and customize SAP applications to meet user requirements.
Support and - Maintenance, Debugging, and Troubleshooting: You will use tools and techniques to debug code and identify and resolve problems in ABAP programs, perform root cause analysis, and ensure the code you develop functions properly.
- Unit Testing: You will perform unit tests to verify the functionality and performance of your ABAP developments, as specified.
- Collaboration and Documentation: You will work with team members, technical leads, and project managers to keep them informed of progress, discuss technical solutions, and document changes to code, configurations, and processes.
- Performance Optimization: You will perform optimizations of ABAP programs and database queries to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Learning and skill development: as an ABAP developer, you will continuously develop your ABAP programming skills, keep up with new SAP technologies, and research best practices in ABAP development.
What do we expect from you?
- Experience as a developer in SAP ABAP / ABAP OO
- Knowledge of IS-U or PM modules will be an advantage
- Ability and openness to learn new things (SAP Fiori/UI5, RAP, Clean ABAP)
- Proactivity, consistency, analytical thinking, hard work
- Customer-oriented approach
- Knowledge of German or English, German is definitely an advantage
