Technology consultant / SAP ABAP developer
We are currently hiring SAP ABAP developer for our young IT company providing services to customers primarily operating in the German energy market. Your task will be to participate in the development of new applications and expansion of existing customer implementation, mainly in modules of Workmanagement (IS-U) and maintenance (PM). We provide services to our German customers primarily remotely, it does not require your presence at the location of our customer in Germany.
You have the option to work mostly from the comfort of your home office or from our office in Prague, easily it depends on what works better for you, what you prefer – it all depends on our agreement.
However, we try to meet at least once a week as the whole team together in our office.
Your tasks:
- Analysis user requirements: You will work with end users to understand SAP system requirements and specific programming tasks
- Programming in ABAP: You will write and edit code in ABAP to implement the business logic, create reports, develop interface, improve current functionalities and customize SAP applications according to user requirements.
- Support and maintenance, debugging and solving problems: You will use tools and techniques to debug codes and identify and resolve problems in ABAP programs, making analysis of cause and ensuring the correct function of the developed code.
- Unit testing: You will perform unit tests to verify functionality and performance of your ABAP developments, according to the specification.
- Cooperation and documentation: You will cooperate with team members, technical managers and project managers, to inform them about the progress, discuss technical solutions, document changes in the code, configurations and processes.
- Performance optimization: You will perform ABAP programs and database query optimizations to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Learning and developing skills : As an ABAP developer, you will continuously develop your programming skills in ABAP, follow new SAP technologies and examine proven processes in the area of ABAP development.
Your profile:
- Experience as a developer in SAP ABAP / ABAP OO
- Knowledge of modules IS-U or PM will be an advantage
- Ability and openness to learn new things (SAP Fiori/U15, RAP, Clean ABAP)
- Proactivity, consistency, analytical thinking, diligence
- Pro-customer approach
- Knowledge of German or English, German is definitely advantage
